Never too old to play!
Last year we partnered with the ABC TV + iview on their award winning series “Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds”. We are delighted to see the series return again and continue to inspire new intergenerational play opportunities nationally.
Playgroups are for everyone.
Children love exploring the outdoors and finding things of all shapes, sizes, textures and smells. Unlike playing indoors with familiar objects, eveything in nature is as unique as the seasons and changing environments.
About Playgroup Australia

PALS Inclusive Playgroups
Starting early 2021, we’re calling on families and community groups to contribute to development of our new inclusive play program. Help us create the next generation of inclusive playgroups.
Playgroup at Home
Playgroup at Home is a national playgroup initiative which invites our community to share ideas for play, health and wellbeing, and to support opportunities for play from the comfort of home.
Intergenerational playgroups are bridging generational gaps to reduce isolation and ageism within local communities, by bringing communities together through play.
There are over 7500 Community Playgroups that usually meet weekly for up to two hours in venues such as community centres, halls, parks and homes of playgroup families.
PlayConnect Playgroups are designed for families of children aged 0-6 years who have unique needs associated with having an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or autism-like characteristics in communication, behaviour or social skills.
PlayTogether is a two-year project aimed at promoting inclusivity and connection for people with disability through community playgroups.
