Staying Healthy & Safe at Playgroup
Staying healthy takes a village. For all the latest information and resources regarding COVID-19 refer to the Australian Government Department of Health. For ideas and activities to stay active, well, and to create memories join us on social media and discover Playgroup at Home.
We know that being unable to join or attend a playgroup has been challenging for families since groups were suspended in March 2020. We also know that parents and caregivers are very concerned to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their children. In light of the current levels of infection in the community, state and territory governments are beginning to implement a staged approach to the return of community life. Each state and territory will re-open activities at a time and in an order determined by them.
Playgroup Australia and its member state and territory playgroup organisations will continue to support playgroups and playgroup families to connect virtually through our Playgroup at Home and Virtual Playgroup initiatives. In addition, we are preparing to support playgroups to return to playgroup sessions.
